Fertility Equity at RSC
Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area (RSC) is committed to delivering compassionate, inclusive care for every patient. Through FertilityEquity ™, we are taking meaningful steps to ensure providers and staff are trained in care that addresses disparities in fertility treatment.
What is FertilityEquity™?
This national initiative was developed by Morehouse School of Medicine, with support from Ferring Pharmaceuticals and powered by EngagedMD. The program is an online learning module designed to equip fertility providers and staff with the knowledge and tools to advance equitable care.
Clinics that complete the program earn the FertilityEquity ™ Clinic Completion Badge — a recognition of their ongoing commitment to patient-centered fertility care.
Why it matters
We are working to remove barriers and improve access to care for all communities who face inequities in reproductive health. Did you know, Black women are twice as likely to experience infertility compared to their white counterparts, yet they often wait twice as long to seek care? This disparity can delay treatment and impact outcomes.
Our ongoing commitment
Earning the FertilityEquity ™ Badge is just one way that we demonstrate our dedication to inclusive care. We remain committed to listening, learning, and taking meaningful action to ensure every patient feels seen, respected, and supported throughout their fertility journey. Our location pages highlight expert care teams that have earned the badge.
