Following the successful collaboration in offering a mini-conference early 2014, Our Family Coalition and Men Having Babies are teaming up again for a full day conference.
The expanded program will include:
- Overview of surrogacy and comparison with other parenting options.
- Step-by-step guidance and peer advice on picking providers and budgeting your surrogacy journey.
- Expert panel on the medical, legal and psychological aspects of surrogacy.
- Personal stories panel with parents and surrogates.
- A resource fair with 20 leading surrogacy providers from across the United States and beyond.
- Twenty “meet the sponsor” breakout sessions.
- On-site private consultations with select clinics and surrogacy agencies.
Proceeds from sponsorship and exhibiting fees will benefit the Gay Parenting Assistance Program and Our Family Coalition. Additional supportive organizations include the SF LGBT Center and Gay Future Dads.
Note: while the event is organized by gay parenting organizations, non-gay prospective parents are welcome and will no doubt highly benefit from it as well.
