Rosa Heredia, MSN, FNP

Nurse Practitioner

Rosa is a passionate nurse practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience in women’s health. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University and later pursued a master’s in nursing with certifications in both family and women’s health from the University of California San Francisco.

As a provider, Rosa focuses on women’s health and fertility. This includes performing saline sonograms, endometrial biopsy, antral follicle counts, mock embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination and obstetrical sonogram.

Driven by passion and empathy, Rosa strives to assist individuals and couples in every phase of their family-building journeys. She believes that reproductive health is an important, basic need for all women.

The most rewarding part of her job is hearing a baby’s heartbeat with an early sonogram and participating in the great joy that parents experience at that point. Rosa says her greatest strength interacting with patients is her compassion, which patients appreciate along with her supportive and understanding care.

When not working, Rosa enjoys jogging, gardening, traveling, working on puzzles, baking cupcakes and walking her dog. She grew up in northern California and is happy to call the Bay Area home.

Every patient deserves a knowledgeable, skillful provider who understands their needs and tries to provide a respectful and safe environment to discuss concerns and expectations of care. Every patient needs to know that they will be acknowledged and cared for to the best of my abilities
